FIDO2 Keys - What are they and why should you be using them?
FIDO2 keys are a secure, password-free authentication method that utilizes public key cryptography. These keys come in various forms, as covered below. Enabling users to log in without relying on passwords, FIDO2 keys offer some of the best available security against cyber threats.
Why use them?
As expected, the adoption of FIDO2 keys in a business brings several significant benefits. We wouldn’t recommend using them otherwise. Advantages include:
- Stronger Security: Since private keys don’t ever leave the device, they are much harder to hack, ensuring robust protection for user accounts.
