The government plans include directory synchronisation - once in place, its possible to move existing mailboxes between the on-premise Exchange system to the cloud, and back again, giving true deployment flexibility. Academic Office 365 Plans and Pricing

Mid-size business & Enterprise - up to 50,000 users
